Hi, I’m Emily.

I’m a passionate postdoctoral scholar in the College Impact Lab in the Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University. I manage the Enhancing Diversity in Career and Technical STEM (EDiCTS) project, a mixed-method longitudinal study. I earned my PhD from the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at Bowling Green State University. My research centers around equitable access into higher education by challenging the systemic barriers that folks encounter from critical constructivist and feminist frameworks. I am also working on a project on the experiences of doctoral students who are mothers and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their doctoral degree and post-doctoral employment.
